What you’ll be doing...

As the Growth Lead, you will be the driving force behind turning our brand reach into sustainable growth. Your role will revolve around four core areas:

💰 Customer Acquisition and Persuasion

You’ll manage inbound opportunities, from sponsorship deals to workshop bookings. Your role will be to assess fit, handle discovery conversations, and close qualified deals. You will use your persuasion skills to move qualified opportunities to closure, ensuring communication is professional and aligned with our brand’s creative soul.

  • For example: when a brand requests an insert ad sponsorship, you will handle the entire process end-to-end. From the initial alignment call to closing negotiations, quotations, and invoicing, you will ensure everything runs smoothly. By doing so, you maximize the chances of closing deals and set the stage for seamless execution in later phases.

đŸ‘·đŸ»â€â™‚ïž Building Funnels

You will design and execute strategic promotion plans across multiple platforms, capturing potential audiences and guiding them through all stages of our marketing funnel. You basically turn views into sales.

  • For example: If we launch a YouTube membership campaign, you will identify and designing distinct content for each stage—from raising awareness, to mid-funnel engagement, to lower-funnel conversion steps. You’ll ensure that at every stage, we thoughtfully guide the audience down the funnel, resulting in a holistic, sophisticated plan that leads to measurable growth.

🔎 Project Strategisation and Planning

You won’t handle every detail, but you’ll shape how ideas become reality. In close partnership with the Operations Manager, you’ll craft strategic, big-picture plans for teams, ensuring each project aligns with the company’s broader goals, run smoothly, strategically, and cohesively.

  • For example: if we launch a LinkedIn campaign, you’ll set the strategic direction and map key milestones and tasks with the Operations Manager. While you don’t handle every task detail, you’ll track progress, keeping everyone aligned and the Operations Manager ready to act.

âœđŸ» Creating Content

While we have world-class scriptwriters for our content, we need you to bring salesmanship into the mix. Your focus is on creating sales copy that don’t just inform, but also converts —whether it’s for an ad, a landing page, or a campaign tag line.

  • For example: when we need a landing page for a campaign, you’ll handle the wireframe, the UX/UI content flow, and the persuasive wording that sells. You’ll shape the tone and structure, then pass it to our designer to implement on the backend.

Requirements

  • You have 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, or related fields. Past experience working with influencers, and in start-ups is a strong advantage. We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running with minimal instruction on day 1.
  • You are fluent in both Chinese and English, with strong written communication skills.
  • You understand growth, not just virality. You know the difference between a video that gets views and a video that drives signups and builds a brand. You read dashboards, spot patterns, and turn data into better and better creative decisions.
  • You have the "Closer" instinct. You understand how to read clients, navigate objections, and use persuasive communication to turn interest into signed deals. You go the extra mile to translate ideas into value, ensuring clarity and buy-in at every stage.
  • You are a strategic problem-solver. You will regularly face new challenges or tools you haven’t used before (e.g. new campaigns or platforms like Kajabi). When faced with ambiguity, your first instinct is to find a solution and propose a “best guess,” not to wait for instructions.
  • You create things. You don’t just strategize, brainstorm, or build decks about content. You actually execute and build things that actually make imapct.
  • You are a natural leader. You understand that leading is more that just to give instructions, but also to guide and influence. You’ll lead by example and foster shared success with teammates.
  • You have strong communication and teamwork skills. You understand that people speak different “languages” and are willing to go the extra mile to translate ideas, ensure clarity, and support teammates in achieving shared goals. Clear communication comes naturally to you. Present with clarity becomes a second nature to you.
  • You have a growth mindset and you read books. We don’t offer a traditional training program; instead, we will personally assign specific books for you to read. You must be comfortable learning from long-form, text-heavy materials to ensure we acquire the same language and mental models.
  • You are accountable. You don’t stop doing things because something is new or unfamiliar. You take initiative, lead projects, explore unknowns strategically, and turn setbacks into learning opportunities.
  • You hold teammates accountable — including your boss. You are willing to give direct, constructive feedback when expectations are not met, and you care more about solving problems than avoiding discomfort.
  • You are willing to be unpopular when necessary. You are comfortable confronting issues directly, having candid conversations, and staying assertive when leading projects. You understand that maintaining project quality and momentum sometimes requires difficult conversations.
  • You understand the company’s "Grand Strategy". You are able to connect dots, see through surface-level problems, identify the overall direction and pace of the business.
  • You’re open to giving and receiving direct feedback. You value honesty and transparency, and you’re comfortable with radical candor as part of healthy collaboration.
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment and readily adapt to changes. We value agility and understand that strategic shifts are essential for growth. This position is not suitable for someone uncomfortable with changes.
  • You are a systems thinker. You ENJOY creating, maintaining, and improving both workflows and the systems that support them. You understand that consistent, structured procedures are what enable creativity, growth and innovation.
  • You have empathy. You are able to put yourself in other people’s shoes and understand the reasoning, pressure, or constraints behind your teammates’ actions before jumping to conclusions.
  • You’re excited to join a small team and build something meaningful. You want to actively contribute to growing äžæŁćžžç ”ç©¶æ‰€â€™s brand internationally over the next 1–3 years and are motivated by our mission (To create a platform that bridges the gap between complex ideas and curious minds, empowering individuals to explore the world and engage in radical, open discussions) and not just tag along for the ride.

The Team & Culture

We bridge the gap between complex ideas and curious minds. To do this, we:

  • Derive enjoyment from producing content that reaches millions of individuals, working towards making an impact in our unique way.
  • Share ideas openly, receive/provide constructive feedback, and relentlessly shape our content to its best ever state.
  • Have autonomy to innovate and shape your work. We believe in empowering every team member to take full ownership of their projects.
  • Cut the crap. We only do things that matter, and hopefully won’t become one of the 62% of Hong Kongers that find their job meaningless.
  • Play for inspiration. We have internal run clubs, personal project clubs, sukiyaki and whisky clubs, etc (Warned you! We are noisy AF)

Is this role for me?

If you see marketing as just social media and paid ads, or sales as merely closing deals, this role isn’t for you. You’ll need to know how to synchronize platforms, content, and business goals to multiply impact; 1+1>2 is your to-go mindset. If you treat sales or marketing as isolated pieces, you’ll find this role overwhelming.

We work with global giants—think names you see every day, like Google, so every decision you make carries weight. If calculating ROI, making bets under uncertainty, and deciding based on data sounds daunting, it won’t fit. As a leader, you won’t always have definite answers— you make the best decisions with what you have.

If you have read 1-2 of the following books, you will understand our “sales and marketing philosophy”:

  • 100M Offer by Alex Hormozi
  • 100M Money Model by Alex Hormozi
  • Dot Com Secret by Russel Brunson
  • Pre-Suasion by Robert Cialdini

IIt sounds intense, but if you’re excited to master growth across psychology, strategy, and numbers—adapting in ambiguity and leading holistic impact—then this is your role.

If that excites you, give it a shot!
