Hi! We're on the lookout for a world-class Sales Lead to join our team! đ„
Weâve built a community of 900K+ curious minds. Weâve collaborated with global giants. Weâve proven that complex ideas can reach millions. Now, we need a strategic engine to turn this influence into a sustainable, international powerhouse.
We arenât looking for an "account manager." We are looking for a Closer. You are the bridge between our creative fire and the commercial world. You donât just "handle inquiries"âyou architect deals, persuade partners, and hunt for growth where others see ambiguity.
To apply, please submit your resume, complete a task and answer questions in the application form!
What youâll be doing...
-
Customer Acquisition & Persuasion:
You are the primary point of contact for our commercial growth. You don't just "manage" inquiries; you master them.
- Lead Discovery: Manage inbound opportunities (sponsorships, workshops, etc.) and lead discovery conversations to assess fit.
- Salesmanship: Use your persuasion skills to move qualified opportunities to closure, ensuring communication is professional and aligned with our brandâs creative soul.
- Clarity: Presenting with clarity is second nature to you; you translate complex creative ideas into clear business value for clients.
-
Funnel Strategisation & Growth:
Revenue isn't an accident; itâs a system you will design and operate.
- Architect the Funnel: Design the commercial journey from first contact to project delivery, defining decision points and follow-up processes.
- Continuous Optimization: Identify gaps in conversion, propose improvements, and implement systems that make revenue generation predictable and scalable.
- Adaptability: You thrive in dynamic environments and understand that strategic shifts are essential. This isn't a role for someone who fears change.
-
High-Velocity Project Execution:
You own the "end-to-end." When a deal is closed, the work is just beginning.
- End-to-End Management: Ensure projects (from course launches to system migrations) are properly scoped and delivered on time.
- Autonomous Ownership: You wear multiple hats. You prioritize effectively and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines without needing your hand held.
Requirements
- You have 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, or related fields. Past experience working with influencers, and in start-ups is a strong advantage. Weâre looking for someone who can hit the ground running with minimal instruction on day 1.
- You are fluent in both Chinese and English, with strong written communication skills.
- You are a strategic problem-solver. You will regularly face new challenges or tools you havenât used before (e.g. new campaigns or platforms like Kajabi). When faced with ambiguity, your first instinct is to find a solution and propose a âbest guess,â not to wait for instructions.
- You have a growth mindset and you read books. We donât offer a traditional training program; instead, I will personally assign specific books for you to read. You must be comfortable learning from long-form, text-heavy materials to ensure we acquire the same language and mental models.
- You are accountable. You donât stop doing things because something is new or unfamiliar. You take initiative, lead projects, explore unknowns strategically, and turn setbacks into learning opportunities.
- Youâre excited to join a small team and build something meaningful. You want to actively contribute to growing äžæŁćžžç 究æâs brand internationally over the next 1â3 years and are motivated by our mission (To create a platform that bridges the gap between complex ideas and curious minds, empowering individuals to explore the world and engage in radical, open discussions) and not just tag along for the ride.
- You have strong communication and teamwork skills. You understand that people speak different âlanguagesâ and are willing to go the extra mile to translate ideas, ensure clarity, and support teammates in achieving shared goals. Clear communication comes naturally to you. Present with clarity becomes a second nature to you.
- You have the "Closer" instinct. You understand how to read clients, navigate objections, and use persuasive communication to turn interest into signed deals. You go the extra mile to translate ideas into value, ensuring clarity and buy-in at every stage.
- You thrive in a dynamic environment and readily adapt to changes. We value agility and understand that strategic shifts are essential for growth. This position is not suitable for someone uncomfortable with changes.
- As part of a small team, youâre comfortable wearing multiple hats and working autonomously. You take ownership across different areas, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality work under deadlines.
- Youâre open to giving and receiving direct feedback. You value honesty and transparency, and youâre comfortable with radical candor as part of healthy collaboration.
- While your day-to-day work doesnât involve video production, you take the initiative to understand our content. You familiarize yourself with the brandâs strategy, tone, and style through ongoing exposure.
- You take the initiative to understand the companyâs "Grand Strategy," identifying the overall direction and pace of the business independently.
Â
The Team & Culture
We bridge the gap between complex ideas and curious minds. To do this, we:
- Derive enjoyment from producing content that reaches millions of individuals, working towards making an impact in our unique way.
- Share ideas openly, receive/provide constructive feedback, and relentlessly shape our content to its best ever state.
- Have autonomy to innovate and shape your work. We believe in empowering every team member to take full ownership of their projects.
- Cut the crap. We only do things that matter, and hopefully wonât become one of the 62% of Hong Kongers that find their job meaningless.
- Play for inspiration. We have internal run clubs, personal project clubs, sukiyaki and whisky clubs, etc (Warned you! We are noisy AF)
